Skoda automobiles have now become a subsidiary of the Volkswagen group though it originally came into existence in the Czech Republic. The automobile company has locations in several countries across the globe (Europe, Australia, Asia and South America) and India is a primary center of the Skoda Company.
The Skoda automobiles are mainly known for the production of various cars and the car model varies from large sized cars to sedan as well as hatchback cars. Presently however the Skoda Company is facing customer complaints which are varied in nature and mainly on some particular model of a car. Complaint against Skoda auto by some disgruntled customers state that a particular model of car engine makes particularly loud hissing noise when the engine is started which is kind of unusual in case of a petrol car engine, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears also create pick up problem, increasing rattling and disturbing noise issuing form the car dashboard, rust mark and other dirty mark found on the car front seat and front door which is an indication that an old car was delivered to the customer in lieu of a brand new one.
The complaint against Skoda auto also deals with dissatisfaction with the dealers who are often complained to have harassed the customers by repeatedly asking them to submit documents, delivering ill-maintained and malfunctioning car in place of a new one. The dealers at the showroom to do not entertain any further customer complaints once the car has been sold even after written complaint and this is a cause of mental harassment of the customers. The servicing center of Skoda cars also face complains ranging from negligence in maintenance and correction of fault for which the car has been sent there even after payment. Also some of the customers complain that their car which was sent foe servicing was replaced with some old car parts and thus the condition of the car deteriorated. This is enough to agitate the customers who have spent a lump sum amount of money to buy a car as well as service it. The company manufactured new cars come with a certain mileage promise but sometimes even after half the mileage the clutch or the engine starts troubling which is a cause of irritation. The cars cost quite a hefty amount and even after shelling out the amount the customers have to constantly give money for car maintenance.
The customer complaint service is provided by the company but the customers calling there are only able to tell their complaint to the authority but they never get back a return call from the company with a possible solution to their problem. Also the customers were subjected to harassment and mistreatment from the service personnel on several occasions. On request of replacing a newly bought but faulty car model the customer was duly refused by a Skoda authority. This kind of unsatisfactory sales and service program of a reputed company such as Skoda is taking a toll on the company’s repute. The Skoda Company must look into this matter seriously as otherwise the customer base of the company might dwindle.
